Privacy Policy

We take your trust seriously. This page explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices you can make to control your data.

Prism Consulting (collectively referred to as Prism, we, or us) maintains this static website to share information about our services. Any personal data described below is processed in accordance with this policy.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you send us. If you email us or submit the contact form, we receive the details you choose to share (usually your name, email address, company, and a short message).
  • Scheduling information. When the optional scheduling embed is enabled, Calendly collects the information needed to reserve a meeting slot. Calendly processes that data under its own privacy notice.
  • Technical basics. Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and request metadata to keep the site reliable and secure.
  • Analytics (opt-in only). Privacy-focused web analytics load only when enabled by the site maintainers. Details are in the “Analytics settings” section below.

How we use information

  • Respond to your inquiries and deliver the consulting services you request.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • Understand aggregate site engagement when analytics are enabled.

Legal bases for processing

For visitors in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process personal data only when we have a legal basis to do so. That includes legitimate interest (responding to inbound requests and securing our site) and, when you enable analytics, your implied consent for aggregated measurement.

Retention

We keep contact correspondence for as long as needed to support the relationship and comply with legal or contractual obligations. Server logs are typically retained for up to 30 days unless we must investigate security issues. When analytics are enabled, aggregated metrics are stored for up to 24 months.

Third parties and data sharing

  • GitHub Pages hosts the site and processes technical logs for reliability and abuse prevention.
  • Calendly only receives data if you book a meeting through the embedded scheduler or follow the link provided.
  • Plausible Analytics collects pseudonymous page-view metrics if the site operators turn analytics on. Plausible does not use cookies.
  • We do not sell or rent your data and only disclose it when required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not set cookies for regular browsing. If analytics are activated, the Plausible script operates without cookies and relies on anonymised, aggregated usage data.

Analytics settings

Analytics are off by default. They load only when the site maintainers set the environment variableNEXT_PUBLIC_ENABLE_ANALYTICS=trueand provide the domain tracked by Plausible viaNEXT_PUBLIC_ANALYTICS_DOMAIN. Maintainers can optionally specify a different script source withNEXT_PUBLIC_ANALYTICS_SCRIPT_SRC. When active, we receive aggregated, cookie-free insights about page views, referrers, and top pages to understand what resonates—never personal profiles or cross-site tracking.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain uses. You can also request a copy of your data or ask us to transfer it to another provider where technically feasible.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days or explain any additional time needed to handle the request.
